Brett Denton

Founder

Brett Denton is the founder of Kvell Sports Performance and a former Boise State football player with a degree in Exercise Science and Biomechanics from Boise State University. His background in athletics and sports science drives the philosophy behind Kvell’s training system, which focuses on building stronger, faster, and more resilient athletes.

Brody

Director of Sports Performance

Coach Brody has a lifelong passion for fitness and performance which has shaped his journey from college athlete to personal trainer. As a former Basketball player at Northwest Nazarene University, he experienced firsthand how proper training and conditioning can elevate physical performance. Beyond coaching, he loves long-distance running, resistance training, and all things outdoors. College athletics and running have taught him the importance of discipline and perseverance. He loves learning the mechanics of the human body and what enables people to perform safely at their peak. For Brody, fitness is not just a hobby or profession; it’s a way of life that promotes overall well-being and longevity. “I believe in fostering sustainable habits that enhance physical and mental health, guiding individuals toward a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.”

Head Coach

Coach Nik is no stranger to the Treasure Valley or to the culture of fitness and friendly spirit found here. Growing up in Southeast Boise, Nik learned from an early age the emphasis Boise residents place on personal growth and brings that attitude every day in his coaching style and dedication to his clients. A lifelong athlete, Nik played football for the Carroll College Fighting Saints where he participated in 3 Frontier Conference Championships as well as an NAIA National Championship game in 2011. Nik certified as a Personal Trainer in 2013 under the International Sports Science Association and graduated with a degree in Health and Physical Education with a concentration in Sport Management. Coach Nik holds Coaching Certificates with U.S.A Weightlifting and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Nik brings infectious energy and focus every day. It is his philosophy that learning to exercise is important, but learning to enjoy exercise is truly the path to a happy, healthy life. Every day is a good day at the gym!
